Default Recession hit blogging world!!!

Hi Friends,

No new paid opportunities for days,no paid reviews,no good pays for Ad Clicks and many more.

All these bad news raises only one question "Did recession hit blogging world too????"

What you say guys?

Cheera & Regards,

Saif

I felt some impact on recession, but it's not the end of the world. Adsense still running.

In my experience there's no shortage of paid post requests... in fact I reject 2 or 3 requests from Blogsvertise every day because I just can't be bothered to write them.

PPC has definitely been hit. If you're a PPC publisher I'm sure you've noticed the last quarter has been really bleak. In my case I'm down at least 50% on normal.

It's a mix and match for sure. Lately like last week or so in particular stuff has died down I've noticed. Could it be related to the total melt down of the stock market? I know someone who took a loss and sold near 52 week lows recently. "It's a gamble either way at this point and $X,XXX can buy a lot of things."

That said if you do provide a service now could be a good time to push your core competencies... Use all the other area's that people aren't. I've increased by PPC campaign with some success. I need to refine my message and take the time to narrow down specific landing pages for terms to increase conversions.

I will be looking into project wonderful and a few other networks again in the near future as an advertiser. I do believe many people will be flocking to the internet as some source of revenue with all the layoffs happening.

That said what do I know? I just have a view like the so many others from the cheap seats

I am really not sure of the recession bit. I am new to blogging and seems like I've chosen a very wrong time to be blogging!! I've haven't seen the potential and I cannot comment on this now...

I wrote a long post about this, but decided it would make a better blog post. I'll have it up shortly.

I think the recession may actually be good for bloggers. All those people staying in instead of going out shopping. What do they turn to for entertainment? The TV and the good old PC

And those of us in the internet marketing niche may benefit because people will start thinking about alternate sources of income

True you just need to be a vehicle for people to reach their markets.

I just started blogging too. I don't think it's a bad time to get involved. In hard times, people still want information. They just want different kinds of information.
