Default Too many blogs on "How to Build a Profitable Blog"

Is it just me, or does it seem that there are too many blogs out there showing others how to build better blogs? How many ways can you rehash the same information over and over again?

This is similar to: If everyone is digging for gold, sell shovels.

Is the market getting saturated? At some point, it will no longer be profitable instructing others how to build a better blog or how to make money on-line.
I could be completely off base with this one. So where's the research?

Is on-line instruction still one of the best ways to monetize a blog?

Ideas, suggestions?

It is beyond saturated.

Not only are there too many, but they all just dish out the same generic, bland information.

What I'd like to see is some data or proof behind the top ten lists that everyone puts up. I'd like to see some evidence that the person who is writing knows what they are talking about. I'd like to know that they have a successful blog outside of the world of blogging about blogging.

Every time I read one of these articles now, I'm tempted to leave a comment with just the words "Prove it".

Very overdone and most of them poorly. It'sbecause people think it's easy.

And it is pretty easy to earn $5 a month or so from blogging. But that's hardly big money.

I'm just curious how there is enough information out there to run an entire blog off of that subject. I mean, there is only so much information you can give people, right?

I was wondering the other day what the most profitable service business is online. After getting some quotes for doing a site redesign I'm starting to think the money is selling these super pricey custom blog designs. I mean some people must spend so much on these they are behind the 8 ball before they start.

I've noticed that. Lately I've gotten a couple of emails from people wanting to sell me custom banners or templates - that must be a huge market. Lucky for me that I know Dreamweaver, Photoshop, and Illustrator, right? The only thing I haven't been able to figure out how to do for myself yet is the coding for archiving. CSS coding and .php still kind of confuses me a little sometimes, though I'm learning more every day.

Even $100 a month is nothing. that's about $3/day, but how much time will you invest in earning that ?

What's frustrating is all of the scraping sites making it that much more difficult to find content that you're looking for at times.

I my point of view, it's saturated but it's often hard to find the information you are looking for. Like for instances, you are a begginer and you want to get started in blogging. There's too much generic information...

I've looked at about 20 the past few weeks and they all say the same thing.
