Too many blogs on "How to Build a Profitable Blog"

I have a blog about blogging and I just decided to stop writing for it because it seems I am writing the same information over and over again. Not very fun.

I just see that all of those blogs are trying to get attention from people looking to make quick money so they can profit themselves. Not exactly trying to instruct anyone.

I would definitely agree. At this point, it just becomes a race to see which of the "profitable blogs" can use their own advice the best in order to get highest in the search engines.

I also agree.

I'd add to the list the even greater number of blogs out there that are clearly only trying to make money and make little attempt to provide anything interesting or useful. Throw a few pictures together, put a professional looking theme around it, put in some ads and then throw it into the blogosphere. I think it's just cynical!

I was reviewing every single blog on the 'Show Off Your Blog' section here until I got fed up with so many blogs clearly only interested in making money. There were plenty that weren't as well!

I'm on a break from the reviews .. will come back to it and will just be a lot more selective about what I review. Rant over. lol

BTW .. I have no problem with people making money ... only when they are offering no value and trying to make money.

i have a plan

I hate these kind of blogs, and i believe there is something we can do about it if we put our heads together

My Ideas are:

1. We all right posts about it, i am starting a thread entitled lieing money blogs, post a link to your blog post there
2. Go to these blogs, if they are on a service such as wordpress, rate them as mature and spam
3. leave comments on these blog detailing flaws in their ideas, they will in most cases be promtly deleted but IF YOU ARE PERSISTENT they wont

Well I'm glad you have a plan and all Joe, but if they're not mature websites and spam websites....then marking them as such is just wrong. And do you really want to waste all your time, pointing out flaws in people's ideas when many of them won't care? Being persistent in forcing them to leave your comments on their blogs or blocking you....that in itself feels spammy to me, lol. Surely you have better things to do with your time...like writing more quality posts.

OH DAMN IT now i feel bad

but i think i'm going to be persistent with some of this because it is really getting in the way of finding and making as well, GOOD CONTENT. but i will be working on posts. I'm also contacting people who i enjoy reading, to offer guest posting, ask for guest posting and even give promotion. i find that i enjoy getting envolved and people enjoying my blog more than anything

one person write original article and many other copy it in their own version. i am not sure how i will fare in 3 years but if money is my motive then probably i am 5 years behind others.
