Ad layout?

Ad Layouts on a Blog
I think they are alright in location.
That being said there are sort of 2 schools of thought; ads on first fold or no ads on first fold. Personally if the ad on the first fold is small , discreet and non intrusive I don't see the point. There is no problem with the location however I'd change the colors to match that of your blog so it blends in more. Sometimes when making an ad standout too much it has the opposite effect in terms of click through. It's noticed but not clicked. Regarding your ad on the bottom that's fine as well I'd just make it the same colors as your blog you could even make one or two blocks longer imo if the same color.
