Do you use Contact Forms?

Simple question, do you use Contact Forms? If yes, why and if no, why not.

For newbies, here are two good and free services to create contact form:

I don't. I actually have my email posted on my website. I guess if I ever start getting tons of traffic I'll have to rethink that.

I don't like contact forms, I have tried them and then ended up deleting them. Contact form's for some reason seem to be abused far more than just a contact email address.

My contact form account cost me around $14 per month for so many forms, and I ended up with a high percentage of the forms being submitted for anything except a legitimate question.

CformsII is a great one, it's free and you can customize it to your hearts content, it has spam checking so no junk mail from it either.

I do because they were installed on the blog when I bought it. It's a good idea. Many people myself included do not use outlook. I'm purely web based so I like a form. Especially if it sends notification of it successfully sent or sends a copy to you as well.

Nope, I sure don't. I do have my email listed on my site, though (in the form of an image so it doesn't get picked up by bots and spammed like crazy).

I do and I get quite a few contacts through them. The occasional manual spammer slips through, but overall I like them.

I use the one built into the forum for the blog, just linking to it. I did install one on my wifes art blog which worked pretty good.

I like to use contact form. It's easier to interact with visitor using contact form. They don't need to install outlook. Just fill the 'requred' field and the message delivered to me...
