Traffic BOOM!

I checked my traffic on analytics today and it jumped from 40 to 931. Most of the visitors are coming from google images. Do you think this will last or is this just a once and awhile thing? What would be the best way to take advantage of the traffic boom?

Well, I guess this will last for a while. Keyword optimize the page a bit so that it won't be going down anytime soon.

Maybe it will stay maybe it won't. My blog reviews gets most of its traffic from a few terms through images and has been like that forever. It's crazy how you never know what you'll rank for.

Google images is a great way to get traffic. That is why it is important to tag your images with the appropriate keywords, not just 043_ky4_rr.jpg or something. Also, make them hyperlinks as well.

I had something similar happen, except it didn't involve Google images, just good advertisement. went from about 15 unique page loads to 730. Some of us just get lucky i guess

I didn't use any tools, I just used good advetisement XD

Yeah. Google Images are good traffic source but i never tried to reach a very large jump in traffic due to images... Can i see the image that caused a sudden increase in traffic?
