I have a work at home blog its about a two- three weeks old. The most traffic I have gotten was around 16 views. Pagerank 0 Alexa 9,000,000. No repeating visitors, max time on site 30 seconds. I had 6 feed readers and today its down to 1. I'm ready to give up. Should I? |

Are you serious, after only two or three weeks? I wouldn't expect any Alexa rank to show up or traffic or readers until you have been at it for several months, if not a year. That is why it is so important to blog about something you are passionate about - it is not a get rich quick method.

You have failed to tell us what your blog address is---how do you expect people to find it and review it if you don't promote it---try adding the url of your blog to your signature when your out in the forums. (like I have in my signatre below) Gary (old dude) ThreeScorePlusTen |

oh I didn't know it was ok to post links here http://www.anticubicle.net I posted in another forum and I was informed the titles needed to be fixed. I did for some I put things like "Telecommute:" is that good? EDIT: oh and I did some research on the feed count dropping turns out its not because people unsubscribed so I am less freaked out about that now. |

the link you put in above doesn't go anywhere?? put in the address url of your blog with your signature. Do a profile here on the bloggeries, and put your blog address in there as well.

"your page appears to be laid out fairly decently and is obviousl ya commercial blog. You need to put some stuff on your blog that will hold the viewers interest, and incourage them to come back—if they see the same page every day with the same posts they quickly lose interest in your page. Perhaps you could allow some of your customers to feature some of their articles to show oher perspective customers what all your offering them?" I'm not sure if I follow I post jobs that I find. Allow others to post jobs they find? I think that would lead to problems. No? |

I agree with puffnstuff as well, keeping your visitors interest is vital, I got on there, and it did look very commercial. There are sooo many money making blogs, and it's a tough market. You need to get the links out there, join discussions, submit a site map to google, and get some friends on some of the other networks, digg, stumble, etc.. it's a constant effort. |
