Thank you. I've been saying that for quite a while now. Most of the reason everyone is worried about the economy is because everyone else is worried about the economy.

Yeah, prices are going up. It happens. You've got some other options other than buying gas; either use them, or quit complaining about it. Yes, America is in a recession. It happens. Honestly, at the point the news picked it up we were in the middle of a regular business cycle. Once the news sources picked it up and started making a big deal, and the average person got concerned, it got a lot worse, because people started panicking. At this point, its not a good situation, but its no worse than what happens every 20 years or so, and we were about due for one.

I absolutely hate the people who complain about the price of this or that. You don't have to buy it. Either suck it up and pay the price, or create your own source for it.

This has been an one of the major problem now -a -days. As there is increase in crude oil price then there will be increase in fuel price.

Gah! Tell me about it, it's ridiculous. We're up to 4.30 a gallon here. I don't know how people are going to be able to keep driving if this continues!

I guess this is a global problem, and it's not happening in just one country. We too here, in Romania, have this issue: the fuel price has spiked to around 4 RON/liter ( RON stands for Romanian New Leu, which is our country's currency and in dollars this means $1.66 ). We're probably not so affected by this, but we sure aren't happy either, especially because prices rise and salaries tend to remain still.

However, I'm glad that I have a car which doesn't "eat" so much gas
