Alexa Has Gone Crazy?

Is it just me or anyone notice a massive drop in alexa? I was average 23,000 for the longest time. Just checked today and it says 3 month average 81,900. Weird.

They recently redid their recording statistics algorithms to reflect better against users with toolbars vs. users without toolbars...
But I guess you picked up on this

Nothing like having 66,000 last year going to 23,000 then back to 81,000 .

I like Brian's attitude; gives us more room to grow!

I think the most interesting part will be seeing what the webmasters say regarding this new, “Algorithms” and new way of calculating the data and information to project or proposed traffic rank.


Bloggeries your rank will go back up and if I read correctly it’s still being implemented right now and over the next few days!

Opps, I almost swore, am I allowed to swear on here? Probably not... but I wrote about it and got TONS of organic search engine traffic from it. Alexa Ranking Change(s) - Still Inaccurate If You Ask Me!

Honestly, I think they just screwed themselves even more. This just shows how inaccurate they were and how inaccurate they will continue to be but worse. I see a lot of blogs take a hit, including mine, but the funny part is the fact that I see a lot of blogs who get less than a third of my daily traffic, they have better rankings... I wonder how this is going to play out...

And if you guys get a chance, I hope you get to read my post about it.
