Europe users: PayPal problems

Hi there! I hope this got in to the right place. I'm just wondering if anyone had the same experience.
I got this from PayPal a few days ago:

Dear Malin ********,

This notice is a reminder.

We are sending you this notice because you have received more than 1,000.00 EUR in total payments to your PayPal account.

PayPal is required by law to comply with European Union Anti-Money Laundering regulations to collect information from customers when they receive more than the set limit in total payments. Please log into your account, go to the Account Overview page, and follow the instructions there about how to provide the required information. These steps need to be completed as soon as possible to comply with this regulation.

Has anyone else received this? Did you provide the required information (drivers license, id, etc)? And how did it work for you?
I don't want to get in trouble or anything, so I'm just asking what the rest of you have done...

I assume you DIDNT give all those details out and click on the link right? Coz if you did...you better go report that immediately!

No I didn't. I actually logged in to PayPal (by writing in their address instead) to see if it all was true. And yes it was true, you had to go to the resolution center and upload files and everything...

i have received the same thing a looot of time ago just submit the things they ask, wait... and you will get your account restored in a matter of days

I submitted my documents on April 5 so there are 2 files under Submitted Documents. However it still says under the Status "Waiting for your response". Did that happen to you as well?

Do you know, I got exactly the same thing yesterday.

It is a legit e-mail, as there's no link in it (you have to actually go to paypal to complete the process), and once I logged in there were big scary notices everywhere!

So far, I believe it's only asked me for my credit card (they will debit me £1, and I will have to put the transaction number in). There isn't a huge amount of money in that account at the moment, but it's a worry as all my advertising expenses go through paypal.

They also said "somebody will ring you soon"! Ooeerrr :S

I tried giving them a ring, and I couldn't speak to anybody! Will try later though.

A small worry I may have is will people still be able to make payments to it? Will they just be sitting there until my account is verified, or will they bounce back?

They asked me to update the credit card information too, so I did that and everything went fine. But the rest... well...

So you aren't getting any message when you log in that you should go to the Resolution Center Rhys?

Damnit. They want me to submit my Business Information, but I don't have a business! What do I do?
