If this is going to be in electronic form I'd advise against a fee at least in the beginning. All your work is the equivalence to a rocket taking off. All your energy or most will be in take off. If you make it you'll just float in orbit and earn $$$$ .

Also if it's popular ... Advertisers WILL come.

I think you should have columns like topics people talk about and have a few staff writers who get their bio etc... (Incentive to produce content for you).

Also - Interviews and don't ask lame questions be edgy let's get to know bloggers .

About charging a fee -

I was going to make the first edition free anyways (no one is going to pay for something without any past feel of it), however depending on how things go it may remain free forever - the potential advertisers that have contacted me means that this thing will make money from the word go, and if it continues to do so perhaps looking at it remaining free could happen.

We'll see, at the moment I'm still thinking of charging $7/month from the 2nd month with $2 going to affiliates (recurring).

As for the guest articles, each person will get a short place to write up a little about themselves so that should be enough for them to contribute - I plan on making this big.

Re the interviews - I have a couple people that I'm going to ask, one relatively experienced and well known, one lesser so - if you guys have any questions you'd like asked, let me know.

Cheers for the well wishes, will update how it's going. I was going to buy the Premium News Theme (Gazette Edition) but saw that Adii was releasing Live Wire tomorrow or the day after so will wait and see how that is as from the screenshots it looks killer

maybe you want to maintain some staff for this mag with revenue sharing offer?

i know that you are going to get contributors but it is always good to have a minimum number of articles each month, not counting those from contributors.

for now, i'll like to look at being a contributor, but if you are going to maintain a team, do let me know, thanks

@ Bobby - if this gets big, I'll pay article writers to contribute... however, at the moment it is just a startup and I honestly do not have much more cash (have already spent around $500 on various things for it) so will have to rely on people contributing for exposure - there are many that are interested in doing so thankfully

Quick question, for any of you guys out there - I'm undecided between two themes - Adii's Gazette and the upcoming Live Wire which will be released soon.

Gazette: PNT - Gazette Edition*|*Magazine Theme for Wordpress by Adii and Mark Forrester

Livewire:

Obviously will have to wait and see when LW comes out, but which do you guys prefer atm? I was going to use Gardner's Revolution but I got a peek of the backend for Adii's and have seen quite a few use the Rev Mag so I'm looking at a change.
