This post is a great example of useless un-targeted traffic. It's got over 25,000 views but I bet not one person signed up so all that was happening was connections on my server were being used for what? So my stats could go up 20,000 uniques and bring my sites overall bounce rate with it?

It brought some decent conversation but I'm just getting at how lot's of things we often do as webmasters are for "uniques" but if they aren't the right type of uniques it's really an effort in vain.
