What do you do when you lose your inspiration?

I have days where I am in overdrive and think of so many things I will write about so I keep a post in draft called "ideas" and then write them as I think of things to do. I have about 3 in draft format most of the time though in case I do hit that brick wall of lacking ideas. They are posts I am not feeling are ready to be posted yet as they need work still so are handy WIP's.

I do 2 sites and because one is a story about how my unborn child is planning to escape whatever it is that it is in, I find that I have these great ideas for as it can hear better, and things grow etc, but trying to keep a site going when my wife is only 14 weeks gone is fairly hard going and I hit that brick wall quite a bit!

I hear ya it's all about having something to keep those memories. I wake up at night with an awesome blog post. *I know it's sad but if there is one place to mention it... Isn't it this form!? *

Anyways it's all about keep track of them. ALso when I'm on a plane I write like 4-6 posts no problem. It comes in handy; then for some reason when I have 8 hours of office time it's easy to have no motivation.

Also depends on what you blog about. If you blog about your food it's easy. Making money online or home businesses. People want facts not fluff which I'm actually great at creating lol

Yeah, last time I was on in plane was in September headed to the Cali and I wrote like 4 posts on the way there, slept, watched two movies, etc lol... too bad I wasn't doing DatMoney.com at that time LOL!

But yeah, I also need to be at a desk. I feel like I get a lot of work done while I'm at work lol...

I take a long walk. Appreciate nature. AND indulge myself in foods particularly chocolates.

Well...I only write about topics that I know I can cover for days and months, and years, etc. But if ideas are tight it's always easy to find inspiration from what others have written and it's also nice to link back to them.

I have a bunch of photos right now that I can use as inspiration, and with not too much text to actually type. I only have to remember to pick things that aren't too bloody.

I usually get outside and take a jog and just think while I run. Never fails that something pops in my head.

well i listen to music it relaxes me pretty much...or i go to sleep

I am also a music listener while I blog, as for when I have no inspiration I have a few methods;

---take a break and get some cleaning done to 'reset' my head
---go to a site like GoArticles and browse the recent articles submitted to get some inspiration
---read other blogs in my niche for ideas
---sometimes even reading a book helps me get back into the writing groove.
