I had a boxing day blowout mentality and bought a new laptop and a digital camera, web cam, printer
. Soo many times I'd say I wish I had my camera one of them being that morning with a 500+ line up at 6am in sub 0 weather!Picked up the Canon Powershot TX1 ![]() Never was much of a camera guy until I bought this. Suddenly I'm that guy capturing everything and I love it. Only major drawback would probably be battery time on long trips w/ the LCD being on whenever I'm using the camera. I guess I should buy a backup battery. I'm sure many of you are more into cameras so what kind do you have and what kind would you like to have?

Oh I looovvveee digital cameras! I have a few Kodak ones....yes, a few...I've upgraded a few times and have a couple for different reasons (like a have a pocket sized one vs. a larger one that I can add extensions/filters/etc to).
You certainly did go on a spree, though! I hope you enjoy everything you got! |

I love, love, love my camera!!!!
35 mm is great, but my digital slr let's me photograph the world. Seriously. I had no idea what the world could be before this, now I'm shocked to see how many people live without digital or with crappy (slow, bad) digital. ![]() Canon Rebel XTi. Awesome. I'm sure all digital slr owners feel this way, but oh, the happiness it gives me. I never leave home without it! side note: I actually won 2/3 the $ to buy it in a photo competition. Had I known how much I'd love it, I'd have spent all of the $ on it a long, long time ago. It really is that awesome! A Nanny's Depth of Field |

I never got into taking pictures, I was always to engrossed in what was going on around me to pull out the camera. I bought one after our trip to Mexico last year, and love it!!
Check out the PQ Talking Photo on the other thread, it really adds alot to your pictures. I blogged about it and got a free copy of the full software. |

Thanks! I'll check it out!
(I've been accused of that btw, not being present because I'm too focused on taking pictures. in most cases I find it more enjoyable experiencing life through my lens. I love taking pictures) |

I've been an amateur photographer for many years. Took a photo class once and even learned how to develop black & white film. I wish I could get past the learning curve with Adobe PhotoShop. Would really like to have a digital SLR too, but I have a pretty nice camera in the Olympus C-8080. I have used it in a lot of how-to's and reviews and I enjoy shooting my friends. I'm kinda a ham myself too.
See what I mean? R'gards, Jim

Not quite sure on the year, but I think it's either a '31 or '32 Chevy.
One of the cars from my local car club during a show & shine I covered in 2006. Jim
