If You're Not Blogging What Would You Want to Be Doing?

If I'm not blogging / being a total forum junkie I'd want to be on a golf course. I absolutely love golfing. Picked it up a few years ago and play 80-100 times a year and I live in Canada where we have snow for half the year so do the math...

What's you're favorite thing to do when you're not on this forum / out and about in the blogosphere?

I should of said fishing as well I'll try and post a picture I have last time I went deep sea in Central America. Some big Mahi Mahi's. Nothing like that feeling when you know you "got one".

Oh my. Um, actually, my life revolves quite a bit around the internet in general....and blogging is fairly low on that at this point, to be honest. My blog is often on my mind as I'm doing other things, but the focus itself is smaller when it comes to the time I spend on the internet.

Outside of the internet world, I'd like to be....um, hypnotized so I'm not still thinking about the net? Yeah, I'd pretty much have to be in order to get anything done.

Okay, let's see. I'd probably be writing...and not the kind of writing I do on my blog because that's not 'real' writing for me. I used to do tons of writing and then got pulled into the net to the point that I rarely actually write that much any more, so it's kinda sad, but it's more of a trade off for me.

I hear ya I just enjoy being on the net in general even if it's just clicking around with no real aim or purpose. What kind of writing did you do / do you do? (If you want to say that is!)

Um, just writing in general, lol. I know that sounds vague, but, for example, for many, many years I used to write multiple times a day in journals. Not the whole "oh, I'm a teenager, the world is out to get me, *whine, cry, bitch*" kind of journals.....more like, what was going on around me or people watching or writing articles about various subjects that crossed my mind. It's been a 'long' time since I've sat down and written anything on paper for more than a fleeting thought...and writing online is completely different. I used to say it was less painful to do it on a computer because it goes so much faster and is painless....but it does start hurting to type after a while now, lol.

Anywho, I'm not a fiction writer, but I've delved into short stories that I've watched unfold before my eyes....so they're more true than fiction, but whatever, they're "stories." I'd love to get back into factual article writing at some point, too, but I don't know where I'd want to focus really, and it'd lead me back to "well now what do I do with this" kind of stuff. At least with what I'm doing instead, I have direct results and satisfaction.

Ever thought of doing ghost writing for people?

Lmao! You're right...I was never an emo teen...never quite looked at it that way, haha.

As for ghost writing, it's crossed my mind, but not enough for me to do real research on it. At this point, I'm working more in the journalistic area and can see myself working toward editing eventually, whether it's in the journalism field or outside that.
