figuring out the signature thing

HI, I am trying to use html in the signature but it just comes up with a box with the html code in it. Can someone help me?

Sure thing. I don't think html is supported. You might be able to use this:

{URL=http://nutjobisme.blogspot.com}{IMG}http://72.51.43.234/rendered/cooltext72895171.png[/IMG][/url]

You'll need to replace the curly brackets in:
{URL=http://nutjobisme.blogspot.com}{IMG}

with square backets like so:
[url=http://nutjobisme.blogspot.com][IMG]

By the way, the URL to your image returns a 404 error.

The issue is that you can't use images. If I allowed images people would add banners and there banner would be below every single post they made which would take away from the content and drastically increase load time.

You can add up to 4 links in 3 lines of text. I'd try the suggestions above and thanks for your interest in Bloggeries.
