Default F1

Hey everyone,

I am currently reading several blogs and forums about F1/ Alonso. There seem to be a lot of peeps that celebrate him but at the same time his own fan club for example slagged him off, cause apparently he is very arrogant towards his own fans that travel around the world to see him racing!

I would like to hear anyone's thought on this. I haven't followed it in the news properly, so now I'm confused whether to be excited that Michael Schumacher can't win another title and Alonso might be the next champion.

Would love to speak to people who have an interest in this topic!

M.

I"m not overly familiar with F1 however I think the same rules apply for fan / star relations. If you don't atleast show some appreciation you're bound to have your fans mad at you. For the star it's normally not that important but they dont' realize how much their idolized by the public.

I've actually been talking to some people about attending the F1 in Montreal this year.

Do you own any F1 blogs? Also how did you find us?

Great to get your opinion; and I think you are right. I think he'll wake up soon. Thing is that he is such a young lad. You are bound to become big headed, no?

I simply googled some forums. The F1 forums I found so far are for specialists really that I'd feel uncomfortable to join them. Don't have that much of a clue myself! Will send you some later.

I'm a golf fanatic. So I follow golf and the same thing happens with Tiger Woods. People say he's fake etc... Bottom line is when these people are at races or events it's there job. I know they get paid alot and are already mega stars but part of the reason is they are expected to win. When they don't they get bombarded with theories and insults. I never really put myself in there shoes but it must be stressful as anything. I'd say regardless of the sport trying to talk to them before game / race is a bad idea. So is trying to get friendly after they blew a tournament / race. lol.

Hey Rob,

I promised to send you a link. There you go!

http://www.pprune.org/forums/

There's plenty of them out there, unbelievable.

What did u guys think about the Bahrain race? Alonso looked well pissed off, didn't he? Even Nick Heidfeld was faster than him. I think we might be in for a surprise with Nick. We'll see.
