Hi.. my name is Eric and I am glad to be a new member of this forum and hope to contribute on a regular basis.

About me: I am a website designer and blogger who lives in Kentucky. I have been designing websites for approx 7 years. My background also includes broadband technician for cable high speed internet and VOIP system. I am a U.S. Navy vet and bbq fanatic.......

About my blog: Novice SEO is a blog that documents my journey in the world of search engine optimization. It is geared toward sharing what I have found to work and not work when it comes to having a website move up the search engines. The website that Novice SEO is geared to primarily is a trucking industry oriented site called TruckerHub.com. I also do SEO for other personal sites and comment on techniques I have employed to make those sites successful.

So if you are looking for techniques and tips that I have found to work, then stop by and visit.... I am always open to suggestions for blog topics and would like to hear what works for you and what doesn't work.

Just visited your Novice SEO blog. Very clean and fast loading with a professional feel. I"d look on getting a header image though maybe something depicting a journey?

Alt Tags and Image Title Tags : SEO Techniques and Tools

I liked that bloggery and posted it here so hopefully others will read this. I tag most of my images on the blog reviews section of bloggeries and I get a large portion of my traffic from images.google.com and the like.

Be sure to start a thread in the "Show off your Blog" section for additional and more in-depth constructive criticism and exposure.

For trucker hub is it currently a directory? If not you may want to add one it looks like it could be / is a good resource for truckers.

It's hot as heck here today but I'm assuming not as hot as in Kentucky!
