Have room for another?

I came over where when I was trying to moderate something on SitePoint (specifically a wordpress theme that was sold over there) and someone pointed me to one of the threads here.

I'm not new to forums or to blogging. It looks like you've got a cool community over here and hopefully I can be part of it. I just started a blogging community myself about two weeks ago (hope you'll let me stay ). I have no idea how I hadn't come across this site, but it looks nice.

In addition to blogging I've been running a podcast for the last couple of months as well..it's been quite a learning experience! Some names look familiar to me and I hope to get to know more of you.

First let me say we always have room for another. We have room for the whole internet .

First let me say I love your blog about the Wandering Family. Basically in the next year I want to leave my life here and basically do that. I want my life to be an adventure and as a web publisher I can work from anywhere in the world. I haven't thoroughly visited your site yet but please be sure to "Show Off your Blog" so the rest of the members and I can give it a good examination.

Without reading the blog how long have you been doing this and do you recommend any countries in particular?

Also your blog community looks like it's coming along well, thanks for taking the time to join, glad you visited and looking forward to interacting with you here on the forums.

Thanks for the welcome Rob! Yeah, WF is a blog that I have to basically keep the grandparents informed of what we're up to. It keeps me out of trouble .

I have so much to update on it, but it's one of those that takes a backseat to my other websites! Yeah, it's been a blast travelling around. i only wish I would have started that blog sooner. Where are you located? Before moving here I lived all over the US and now that I'm in Europe I am definitely making the most of it. As far as countries I'd recommend..hard to say! I liked all that I've visited. I think I'm off to the Netherlands in a couple weeks and then Portugal in October. And yes, being a developer for a living is great because it allows me to travel. I just need Internet access and I'm good.

I've got 5 blogs I could show off so I'm sure you'll see me there.

Definitely looking forward to hearing about some of your other blogs and the wandering family one in particular. I"m located in Canada, been all over Canada, many parts of the US, some Central America and Caribbean and the UK. It's time to expand though as I wish to live on the go permanently. Basically I want my life to be an adventure something new, something fun, something I can blog about passionately.

I also noticed you are podcasting it's something I am looking forward to getting into if you can share any of your insights in the Podcasting Section it would be much appreciated.

Also be sure to visit our Promotion. If your other blogs are like the one I've seen you may have a few qualifying!

Agreed and the more people I meet you like the better. If you talk to people who have never taken the adventure they always seem to downplay it!
