Just joined this forum, which I found through browsing the Web.

Just about ready to do my first Blog, but have a question:

I note that some people online offer auto content for your Blog, which I understand removes the need for daily Blog updating yourself. Is this something that is considered acceptable white hat, or is it black hat?

Sorry, I didn't answer your question... It isn't something I do because a blog is supposed to be about your own writing. The problem is, if they offer auto content for you then they are offering the same content to other people, and that means that you might be penalized by Google for duplicate content.

I have heard of the auto post makers too, but I myself prefer reading original content, even if it is just posted once a week.

And it is like Nathan said, your content won't be original if you are using an automatic thing, because others will be getting those posts too.

Welcome Bob! I stayed in New Zealand for a year and loved it. It's an amazing place, I've thought more than once about settling down there for good. Like, seriously.
