Hi Everyone,

I posted that bloggeries.com has changed ownership in our blog reviews.

Just wanted to let everyone know that my name is Rob and I'm taking over from where Jamey left off. He'll still be helping us with the vision and direction of the site but I'll be taking care of it etc...

I've been online since I can remember. I used to run a few BBS's in the early 90's and got on the net as soon as I heard about it on my incredibly prehistoric modem . Anyone remember the "Lynx text browser?" Not too long after I worked for an internet provider and really got into it. Built a few sites but then when I went to university took a break for a while. While in university i started a web hosting and design firm which I closed a few years later due to the hosting business being very fickle. As an example: having 1000 customers at $10 a pop for a 24/7 service that I have limited control over isn't my idea of a good time!

I have been looking for a great project the last year or so and jumped at the opportunity to get involved with Bloggeries. I hope everyone enjoys the site and finds these forums useful. If you ever need anything please let us know regardless of the topic be it a question relating to your blog or if you'd like us to add another category here on the forum.

Oh my god, Lynx Text Browser??!! That is so way back I got a Carpenter's song in my head when I read that. lol Just ages me too, tho, doesn't it. Great getting to know you Rob!
