Smile Hello from Mercedes-Benz North Yorkshire

Hi Everyone,

I am the IT Manager for Mercedes-Benz North Yorkshire.

I recently started a blog for MBNY to try something different, our official websites are quite restrictive and the idea of starting a blog was suggested, so that's what I've done.

However I didn't realise how big this could get and also how difficult it is to get going.

I went to my local library recently and picked a book called The Rough Guide to Blogging and that's how I ended up here.

I've now added a Blog Patrol Counter, written two posts and included a photo library using picasa.

Well that's me for now, going to take a look through these forums for some ideas, tips and tricks now and hopefully one day offer my own advice!

Scott

Hey Scott,

You've come to the right place. Be sure to use the search function to see if something has been covered; if not simply start a new thread and we'll help.

Also I own a Benz so I'll be interested to read your blog. Unfortunately I've had tones of problems with her... Still love her though!

I wish I had a Merc - no company car for me, one day my lottery ticket WILL win.

I'm spoilt really, I get to drive all the models as part of my job - but prefer the ride home on the motorbike.

Many thanks for the reply, will use the search function - currently brain storming for more ideas at the moment.

We're here to help .

I love it but last year I've had a clutch fan go, replace coil springs, exhaust manifold, windshield wiper transimission & engine. List goes on but she's a smooth ride.

Tip: Once your blog gets going signup on some MB Only forums for targeted traffic and relevance.

Can't disagree there - they are a very smooth ride.

Was in a CLS AMG the other day - the seats are active and move to hold you round corners - wierd sensation!
