Proper Introduction - Hello everyone

I should make a proper hello and introduction to members in this forum.

Hi, I'm JJ and please do call me JJ instead of MynameisJJ.

I was a professional video editor working for this one particular video production house nonetheless I decided to resign after 1 year.

When you work in this field, life is all about rushing and overtime. When I say overtime it means work until 12 am and sometimes until 1 am. So one day I was in a monorail heading home from work. I started to think - why in the world am I doing the same thing again and again in a cycle while time is flying by. I took bus - transit - monorail to work and to go home. It took me an hour and half to head home alone. Eventually enough is enough.

Currently I am running my own business in video production. But at least I am in charge now.

Hi jj welcome to bloggeries blog forums. I know how you feel being busy and all. Sometimes it may seen stressful but when you get the feeling you have done something better to help another person, even a stranger it makes it all worth it!

hmmm maybe there are new rules in the forums regarding signatures I"m unaware of... Sometimes this will consist of a minimum amount of posts!

you are right brian.. bloggeries forums has a new rule that a new member need to be an Established member before they be able to add a link to their sig..

hello, JJ. nice to meet you here. i use to be interested in video editing and production but i thought of it as more of a hobby than a profession. nice to have you here in the bloggeries forums.

It is a profession but its also a hobby for me as well. lol. Yesterday I went for a video shooting in the middle of my city for the sake of making a vlog. I had several funny looks from passersby. Not that I could blame them though. In order to get beautiful shots I had to bend here and there, pose in funny ways etc. But it was fun and amusing at the same time.

Nonetheless I wasn't completely satisfied with my video shooting on that day. I didn't get the chance to shoot at several places as those places were too crowded. I will go back to the city next week.

Awesome to have someone who is an expert on video production. Hopefully you'll be able to help us with our vlog's. I"m totally lost. I have a camera but still need to work on production side!
