Thanks for the welcomes. I'm investigating blogging as a commercial tool to find seller, buyers etc. - I'd also did put something up for attracting people to comment on controversial issues.

It has become very common. The reason is possibly that it is kind of a more userfriendly alternative to web sites as well. With the free blog providers around, it is very easy to get started with a blog.

Yes..it sure did..because its free,and easy to setup and use.You can reach almost anyone using blogs.Why don't you put your blog URL in your signature column because it makes it easier to view your blog or website.
