Default New here, will be doing some reviews
I just joined this forum. My blog is at Globally Rational , if anybody is interested in seeing it. It's about my perspective on world events, as a scientist who has lived in and visited various parts of the world. I will also be doing some blog reviews for this forum, so hopefully you'll be seeing my name a lot in the near future.

It's hard to say exactly what field... my degree is in chemistry with minors in medical physics, biology, and radioenvironmental sciences. Meanwhile, I work in pharmacology and microbiology. I'm planning on starting medical school soon and then I'll probably go into nuclear medicine research, at which point I'm planning on doing a part-time PhD in physics.

That's why I usually just call myself a "scientist"... all of the branches tie together so much, especially in the kind of work I'm interested in, that I can't really call myself a physicist or a chemist or a microbiologist or a pharmacologist.
