Default New blogger starting a short fiction blog

A bit about me:

I live in New Orleans. I drink a lot of coffee. I do computer stuff for a living and read, write, draw, and cook as much as I can. I was initially skeptical about the value and quality of blog writing but have stumbled across a few people who are doing amazing things. Here's hoping someone says the same about me someday.

A bit about my blog:

What the world needs now is another struggling writer putting his work
up on the internet. In an attempt to fill this gaping void in all of
our lives, I've started a new blog at A Few Words From the Demon Hamster
where I'll be posting short fiction. Most of what ends up here is
likely to be quick character sketches or dialog exercises that started
to take on a life of their own. At least, that's where the two pieces
up there now came from. I make no claims to be producing any stunning
masterworks, but I'd be happy to hear from anyone with comments or
suggestions. I'll try to post at least once or twice a week.

I think you have a good imagination, but it would certainly pay you to put this much text through a spelling and grammar checker before posting it. I'm not the fastest reader in the world but I can't say I enjoy being tripped up by missing and duplicated words.

I sincerely hope you take my comments as constructive and do continue with your writing, everyone has one book in them, right?

Wow, you're absolutely right. I've never been in contention for a "World's Best Proofreader" title, but this one really went above and beyond. I've gone back through and fixed the most horrendous typos, although I'm sure there's still a mistake or two that I missed. Apologies to anyone who slogged through this in its original state, there's really no excuse for putting something out there without a more careful revision.
