Hello Everyone

My name is Arnold. I am an old COBOL and Visual Basic programmer who has now grown to old to cope with the stresses and strains of programming. I have gone into semi-retirement and to keep busy I blog and I teach VB, mathematics and statistics at a college in South Africa.

I am still a newbie when it comes to web development and blogging. The main reason for me being here is to learn from you guys.

I was approached via Entrecard to place an ad on my site for Bloggeries and at the same time I was invited to visit this forum, so here I am.

The only thing I have against blogging is the fact that I did not start many years ago.

Glad you made the plunge and it looks like you may have lots to teach us as well . The one good thing about starting later is that blogging is still in it's infancy so it may seem like a long time that you didn't blog but things are growing so fast in a few years you'll realize you basically still got in ground floor!
