Hello everyone!

My name is Sylvie but I always do go by Sychak or Sychak1 on Forums.

( One of my best friend's last name is Sychak, so I just have to use it! .

I am 48, almost 49, and I have breast cancer, but I do not make a big deal out of it.

(The only place where I'm very opened about what I'm going through with it is on my Blog! But it is such a new Blog, only 2 weeks old, that there are not too many posts on it just yet anyway!).

I am a HUGE "dance music" lover, I'm an only child and I've always been an animal rights' activist for as long as I can recall...

I live alone with my mom, who is also a cancer patient.

But you really would not know it just by seeing her!

At times, mom and I will travel an awful lot, every single year or so.

(This year however, home is where we will stay!)

I do help out by picking up dead or injured animals on the roads of my town, I'm always available for that all year 'round.

Currently, we have 10 cats in the house, who never go out, and we must also be feeding about 5 outdoors (strays).

I am a French-Canadian born, but I became fluently bilingual by the age of 12, although there is no English at all where I live!

I'm also good with computers, so if anyone should have a problem with computers, just send me a PM, and I'll be glad to help out as best as I can!
