Hi All - From Down Under

Hello all - I'm from Auckland, New Zealand (North Island), and have been blogging moderately for about four months. I have been busy participating in NZ PC world forums, other forums, and updating/modifying my other sites, etc. Consequently I have not done much to my blog, until lately where I have been a bit more active but mainly with the template layout optimization and utilizing (or trying to) feed burner.

Though I subscribe to prominent optimization content bloggers (based on technorati ratings), and enjoy visiting hundreds of technical/computer based blogs, it's about time for me to get actively involved in a forum about blogging. I found this site from a blog which had a 100 blog directories (Giant List of Blog Directories | SponsoredReviews Blog. I reviewed many of them, and this one appealed to me, due in part, to the range of forum topics...

Wish I was in NZ. My city received 2.5 feet of snow yesterday... Made for a very interesting ride into work.

Thanks for your welcome. I can't see any topic at the moment that's uncovered, but I'm still browsing the forums. In NZ at the moment, people are generally moaning how it's a bit hot at times, as we are entering our summer season. We are lucky that it does not snow in the major cities, generally only in the mountainous tourist based low populated central north island, and central south island, and perhaps the odd city down south...

That's what would love. Snow where we can use it, not where we dread it. I hear NZ is beautiful. To the best of your knowledge are their lots of golf courses?

It's been on my radar for a long time now.

There are plenty of quality golf courses, due in part, to large tracts of quality green pastures country wide. Golf in NZ has become very popular in the last 15 years, due to prominent rugby players taken up Golf, TV coverage, and Michael Campbell becoming popular, and that Tiger Wood's caddy is from NZ. Then there is our legendary Bob Charles who won major titles over 30 years...
