I just wanted to say thank you for offering the site, and for posting so many wonderful articles. I am very new when it comes to marketing, and operating my first business, and I have to tell you, there is a lot more to it than I ever considered. (Mostly the expense, wow).

I was recently over billed from Goggle's Ad (Placement Targeting Service) I may post my experience on your site to help other website owners.


I am slowly blogging my way to be noticed online. However, my websites page rank is very low and I don't think I am getting the word out correctly. The website opened just this past August, so it has only been three months now and it is being hit approximately 2400 to 3,000 hits per day, with an average of 2600 a day. I don't know if this is good or not. I am rather exhausted in blogging; I have posted to more than 20 sites today, written six small articles and submitted my URL to over 25 search engines, my goodness the day is not over yet.

I will defiantly be hanging out here to read everything that is posted, (eventually). I created my business online as a back up plan to writing books; I needed to have a business that would allow me the flexible schedule, which is funny now that I think about it. I have not had to write a chapter since I began my business endeavors.

Hi Kat,

Welcome to the forums. Sounds like you are having a bit of blogger burnout. My best advice is try not to do too much at once. These things simply take time. There are always people who have the results you want but chances are they started a long time ago . Stick in there and pace yourself as hard as it sounds you have to pace yourself. Be sure to ask any questions you have as it ads to the resource and helps you find exactly what you need.

I think 2600 hits a day is pretty darn good for a new site. You have to understand that most sites on the web get little traffic it's all concentrated so I think you are well on your way!
