A little bit of this...
Hello!
My husband, Logtar, told me about this forum and I thought it would be a good idea to join. I've been a weblogger since March 2001... That makes me an almost 7 year-old blogger. I've posted about everything under the sun. My posts go from very personal issues to political rants. It has changed names and locations many times, but the archives are there to do justice. :-) These days I keep it rather light. I also have a Flickr account that I use as a photolog, a LiveJournal (friends only), a Diabetes blog and a motivational page on Tumblr. Last edited by Betizuka; 11-02-2007 at 11:52 AM.

Hello!
Glad your husband told you to give us a visit. I think you are the most senior blogger I've ever met online or offline. Almost 7 years... What year did "blogosphere" even get coined. I moved this to "introductions" as it was more of one then a typical show off your blog. I did not know November was Diabetes month. Last month was breast cancer and we helped Blogging for Boobs awareness movement. Do you know any bloggers who have a diabetes awareness program or action day coming up?? Welcome to the forum and looking forward to hearing some insights from a veteran!

I don't know when exactly was the term "Blogosphere" coined, but I think it was somewhere between 2002 and 2003. I could be wrong, though. As for the Diabetes bloggers... THERE ARE PLENTY! I didn't know until recently when I decided to start a new weblog. I joined NaBloPoMo (for those of us who aren't talented enough to do NaNoWriMo), and I belong to a Diabetes Bloggers group. If you check my weblog you will find links, and I especially recommend the Diabetes Blogroll.
