I have to say, this is a first for me to find a forum at a directory, but a great idea all the same.
Nice to see other fellow Canadians too! I found this directory via a Google Search. OK, introductions...my husband and I own a trucking company in Edmonton Alberta called Fast Lane Transport. We've had our website up for a couple of years now. With much encouragement from friends and our webmaster, I've started a blog for our site, for which we've been added to Bloggieries for Life in the Fast Lane. I'm completely new to blogging, but it's a lot more fun than I had thought. I've strayed away from the business end of things with the theme for our blog pertaining to art, the odd and unusual, offbeat news, and weird sciences. There will be a few things added relating to trucking and business, but my general focus is to feature artists, creative things in general, and the odd or unusual. Bearing these things in mind, if anyone would like to be featured or add something that's out of the ordinary, I would love to promote you on our blog. You can contact us on our blog Life in the Fast Lane blog at http://www.fastlanetransport.ca/blog/. Nice to meet everyone. I think this should be fun! |

Hi FastFastLane,
Thanks for taking the time to join Bloggeries! I think you are onto something with your blog. If you made a blog about the daily happenings in the trucking business you wouldn't get that many hits however the fact that it's something very unrelated and alot of different topics you should have good coverage with your technorati tags. I assume you should be getting some decent traffic and who knows how many of those visitors may transfer over into sales. At the very least it's giving your site more link popularity then before so that should help with the search engines. Thanks for joining the and look forward to chatting with you here at the forum! I really appreciate your input. Blogging is a completely new world to me.
If I had to write on things only related to the trucking industry, I'd rather slit my wrists with a dull knife :-) All work and no play, as they say...This way I'm able to express the whacky side of my interests. I hope that it will be an avenue for countless others to do so as well. I really like your concept of having this forum, and hope that you gain a wide readership! Cheers! |

Hi Chrissie,
Thank you! Wonderful to meet you! It's amazing how small the world is on the great wide web. Mind if I ask where you're located? We're in Edmonton Alberta. |

How is the blogging going? I was just on Jay's Make Money Online with Online Opportunity and I clicked on a few of his recent readers and was like I recognize Fastfastlane. So how have you been and have you developed any more blogs since you last visited or still working on the one main one?
