This is from the profile page:
"If you have an AdSense account, you can enter your client ID here. You then have a 50% chance that the AdSense ads displayed are credited to your account on threads you participate in. It should be in the form of pub-xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx" My code is in the form ca-pub-xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx. Do we include the "ca" or leave it out? Also, with regard to this suggestion: "You may also wish to start a channel for this so you can track specifically how much you are making from this forum." If I create a custom url channel for "http://www.bloggeries.com/" will this track as you are suggesting? Sorry - I have an Adsense account, but don't have the code installed on any sites yet, so I am not expert at it yet. Thanks!

I'm not sure if I did it correctly, but I just created a category in adsense, and then copied the number it has beside the category into that box.
I'm not sure if that was the right way to do it, but since thats how it is in the code google generates I assume so. The same with the ca-pub vs. pub, since the google-generated code has ca-pub in the same spot as just pub, I would assume you should do the same here. |

On other sites where this has been brought up, they've said the ca isn't necessary for it to work. More than likely either way will work, though.

OK Thanks - Anyone know about the channel thing that Rob recommends on the instruction page?

I don't know about the channel thing. It won't function for me. I'd like to hear what they've got to say about it, I was looking through my adsense the other day and noticed that there aren't any hits for the channel I set up at all.

The channel should not be a name, but a number.
However, google have recently changed it's adsense channel code. It used to be something called "cid", now it could be "google_ad_slot" in the code ![]()

I've got it set to a number, it should be showing up under the channel Forum. Nothing shows up on my adsense report with that, though.

You have to use your client_id as displayed in the right top corner when you log into your Google AdSense account. You have to put code without ca- and starting with pub-.
