Text Mayhem, I am curious, I was looking through bloggeries directory the other day, it loaded up right on the top of the screen. The categories and all. Today, I was going to submit to the Art Category, and when I look at it, I had to scroll down,pretty far down to see the categories, it appeared to be missing at first.

I have noticed this as well on some other sites on occasion. Does anyone know why this happens?

Are you talking about the main page?

You're on 800x600 resolution right? It's optimized for 1204X... I forgot about that decision a long time ago.

I'm thinking of getting a total redesign anyways and have been for some time...

Do you run into a problem like that on many sites? I'm seeing more and more sites optimized for higher resolutions especially in the webmaster field.

Yes, I actually have run across it several times on blogs, and wondered, wt h e double hockey sticks, and I just assumed it was something that happened on occasion, never even thinking past that.

It happens at 1024X sometimes but rarely. It's usually when a graphic is too wide to fit in the columns. Have you tried a higher resolution?

This reminds me of a poll/discussion that was started in the summer; curious to see the numbers as more people participate.

What Screen Resolution Do You Use?
