I've read varied stories about entrecard so decided to give it ago. The big persuader was:

Being bored + Winning 150 credits in a blog contest = Sign up time

So now I know I can drop my card, that gives me 1 credit and I can do that upto 300 times a day, what then?

How does this turn into traffic for me?

Plus I have onyl jsut signed up and the site is up and down more than a PR update!

Which blog did you sign up with? I couldn't find your widget. Other people will drop on your widget and that will get you traffic. Plus you can advertise on other blogs.
I find I get out of Entrecard what I put into it.

People will drop their card on your site as you drop yours to them. Join in on the forums, and interact with the folks there.

When you drop your card on other blogs you do get credits, when those build up, buy yourself advertising space to get exposure on other blogs. I put about a month into Entrecard dropping 300 cards a day, when the system was not under such a load. It is up and down, and slow at times.

I suggest commenting on other blogs and interacting that way. You will gain some readers, but you will also gain the drop traffic.

And you never know,, some of those droppers might just like what they see and hang around and become blogroll link traders, guest posters , commenters and all the other benefits of hanging out with friends .

Cool, I'll give it a bit longer then. Traffic stats are nothing amazing yet and the time on site is under 20 seconds.

Is that why the widget has been taken off of Bloggeries?
