Entrecard Organic Bounce Rate Isn't So Bad - What is Yours?

Alright lot's of talk about how EC is terrible bounce rate this and that.

I was visiting my analytics and I noticed something... My biggest referrer through EC was my card itself ~900 visits. It's bounce rate was only 58%; 47% new and average time on sight 4.45 minutes! (This is better then some paid traffic I've received.

Remember this is also from someone who has basically done nothing in a month on entrecard. My uniques was a lot higher when I was ~60-80 uniques a day through my card profile. Now it's 10-20... Not bad for a bounce under 60%.

I did however notice that my ads had a horrible bounce rate.

What is your bounce for your card; not your ads placed?

P.S Only reason I was searching "easy money making ideas" is because Homebiz Ranks well for it lol.

After all the EC bounce rate discussion no one has any comments on this? This has reinvented my love for EC.

Definitely time to have it open during the day and followup with new cards I see.

My bounce rate is 54% for EntreCard but at the same time, it is one of my best sources of consistent traffic. I get over 35 uniques daily from them and I have only used them for 2 days now. This number should grow significantly and I for one am excited! EntreCard rocks! Dropped you a business card btw.

It depends. I don't have a huge number of data points yet, only a handful, but it looks like almost a 100% droprate from people "dropping back." All of the people who are dropping from their dashboard are just clicking and leaving, doesn't look like they even read it. On the other hand, those who are finding it some other way, stumbling upon my card through the category or some such thing, end up with only a 77% bounce rate.

Of course, I have yet to do any optimization about this. Like I mentioned in another post, Targeted Entrecard pages may be the way to go, to lower that bounce rate.
