I should be very clear...

I have gotten readers from Entrecard. It is for that reason I don't take the widget off of my site. It will also give you a slight Alexa bump by having it on your site.

However, my main complaint is the reward for the cost of dropping cards.

Some of the top valued sites on EC are basically addicted to dropping. If they stopped dropping, all their traffic would disappear because they don't have content to justify the numbers they have.

I now only drop when I encounter a site via normal reading or stumbling which has a widget. I average about 10-20 per day.

Fair point. Time is expensive.

But with CTR + Click and Firefox tabs I can drop 300 cards in less than an hour.

Plus, I would think that the maintenance requirement would decrease over time.

Good for you man! I was at your point a couple months ago. But the only difference is that I don't drop my card all the time. For instance, I come here almost everyday and I don't drop everyday. But at least you know I'm a loyal person who just doesn't drop and dash...

But there's so many people like you that are realizing this and that in the long run the fake traffic isn't going to help you much... so thanks for joining us! lol Well, me anyways...

To be honest, I'm found this wonderful forum when I'm dropping at entrecard...

Thanks to them, if not I'm think I'm still "Lost" and wandering around this great forum without knowing it.

I'm gained some loyal readers for my all 3 blogs and very satisfied at this moment.

BTW, anyone realized today that entrecard have changed the dropping word, instead of "thanks" to "go go", "wicked", "yeehah" and others?

Wilson.

Agreed I think Entrecard shouldn't be generalized because like everything it works better for some niches then it does others. This forum has really benefited from it's participation in entrecard.

Well, this is what it was made for. And don't get me wrong, I don't mean to sound like I dislike Entrecard, I'm just not a big fan of the chain droppers, drop and runners, etc.

I have found TONS of great sites I continue to visit, including this forum.

I think you're a fine example of If You Didn't Have Entrecard,Your Blog Would Have No Visitors.

I honestly hope you're not looking to make money online with fake traffic

Well, Wilson, it's definitely nice to see you here! Especially given the fact that you are NOT a chain dropper or a drop and runner, so I just want to say that we ALL appreciate that.

If you ever need any help, feel free to contact me. I usually answer faster through my blog, but here is fine as well.
