I have to say it has brought me a handful of quality readers and dedicated commentors as well. I have as well found many useful blogs to read and am learning alot from them.

Interesting... Guess it is worth keeping.

I found making a Blog Post relating to Entrecard must catch Entrecard users eyes because my latest post kept them on my website a lot longer and made the more engaged.

Thumbs up I Like Entrecard

I've also gained some loyal readers. I've found the traffic to be better than the stumble-upon traffic as far as page view and amount of time spent on the site.

I've got a contest series going right now that rewards people who read the blogs and based on the comments that I need to approve on the latest post I know that a good share of the readers do take the time to read the blogs. So I am seeing definite proof that Entrecard is leading people to read blogs.

One of my blogs was started just two months ago and I have been very happy with the results I have gotten. The topic isn't one of the highly trafficked niches as well.

I'd agree that the traffic is better than stumble upon. It's not bad for a social networking site IMO. Also if it sends a lot 70% means 30% stayed around...

I'm not going to lie, Entrecard was great when I first joined it... I met TONS of friends, got introduced to TONS of new blogs I probably would have never knew about... but then it just fell off for me.

If you notice me at your site and I didn't drop a card, it's not because I didn't want to, it's because I don't need to drop a card to show you I was there, I rather just leave a comment. :-)

And yes, I currently still have the widget on my blog, but it doesn't bring me much traffic like it once did. Oh, and I can almost guarantee my bounce rate is over 90%!!!

I also found some nice blogs in there and I visit them regularly. I don't expect too much from this Entrecard thinggy, it's nice to just have some visits and maybe turn some of them into readers ...

Yeah, I guess. I mean, if 10% of the people who just drop their cards become daily readers and possible subscribers, then I think I'm fine with that.

For Retro Garden, it hasn't brought anybody in. I suspect it's because I'm not "a blog about blogging", more of a niched blog.

The other one has done okay.

Default The Truth!

Yep, big fan of Entrecard here!

The truth is, it's like anything else in blogging, business, life.....whatever. Your results are in direct proportion to the amount of effort that you put in to it.

Maybe it didn't work fast enough for you, so you were down the road. I find that the case with many things that people are not happy with. Did they really give a 100%

I have made several posts about this here and at Entrecard.

Entrecard is a great tool for people looking to generate traffic. I have gotten a bunch of quality readers and loyal commentors.

Entrecard has increased my Alexa rank from 500,000's to a current 208,000 in about 2 months. My weekly average has been between 55,000-80,000

Heck, that's just my experience! This is working well for several blogs that I own that are managed by others. I am going to keep on keepin on Entrecard!

BTW - I'm not saying that the lack of effort is any of you.....it's just merely a general observation and rhetorical question really. Only you know if this is you.

Yeah, Entrecard traffic definitely has a high bounce rate. There are things you can do to minimize your bounce rate though!

Check out this article: How To Trap Entrecard Droppers

I think you may find it helpful!

Best wishes,
