From what I saw it turns keywords in your posts into links to other sites. Theoretically you make money, but I can't stand it when other sites use those systems, so I don't want other people to have to tolerate them on my blog.

So, when I write a post on my blog, if this plug-in sees keywords that it can link to other pages, it does it automatically? ugh... that sounds kind of spammy for my readers.

You don't have to compulsorily use the keywords...you can only use the plugin to covert affiliate links into proper urls and can track clicks made to those affiliate links. Nobody is forcing you to use its keyword feature if you don't like it.
