What if I wanted to run a contest where the review was the prize? As in, based solely around giving away a review...would you be game for something like that, or would you rather it be part of several prizes being given?

But um, in all seriousness (well, sorta seriousness...I can only let go of so much quirky in places like this....), I'm starting to get jealous of all those people that are running contests to up their comments and subscribers. I'm seeing lots of success with those quickly-becoming-"standard" contests of "hey, I'm running a contest, you get 'this' many entries for subscribing to my RSS feed, 'this' many for commenting, and 'this' many for writing an entry about this contest....yay! go out and spread linky love!!"

*Cough*

I'd like to do something similar...but quirkier. Maybe entries for quirky-worthy posts that they link back to me? I haven't really given it much thought because I had no intentions of running a contest any time soon, but hey, blog-jealousy does funky things and Quirky likes funky (well, sorta....ya know, they're related and have their issues with one another, but all-in-all, there's brotherly love...)

Would you be willing to throw in a blog review? I can blog about the forum on Saturday on Sunday. Actually I've been thinking about doing a review anyway, this just gives me an excuse to get it done sooner.
