Due to the overwhelming amount of SPAM we've been receiving I had no choice but to make a restriction on all of the Blog Promotion Forum.

You must have 10 posts before you can start a thread in this sections.

That means 10 posts before you "Show off Your Blog", Request a Review or start a thread in the Classifieds.

In order to accrue 10 posts please participate in Blogging Basics of the Blogosphere and our General Discussion forums. To start I highly recommend posting a brief introduction about yourself; no better way to meet the other members and get going.

Once you've made 10 posts in the other forums you will be promoted to an established user and able to take advantage of the free promotional services we are offering. The promotion happens automatically every 10 minutes so if you've made 10 posts and can't start a thread just wait 10 minutes and try again.

These are great free promotional services to active members that were getting abused by spammers .The line had to be drawn somewhere because it was becoming a full time job moderating the spam and my hands are hurting! Also it is not fair to active members to let the section become a useless free for all spammy blog link farm filled with people who have no intention on coming back or contributing. If you visit the forum for the first time and all you see is spam you probably won't come back which is too bad considering I've found numerous blogs that I now regularly read through this medium.
