Thanks for the article. It comes in handy! I've just started my blog less than a month ago. But the traffic was quite poor. But my contents are more like a personal diary. Does it mean that it won't attract readers?

I've developed a system where I have 3 types of posts:
1) a photo which I put up every day, 7 days a week. I haven't missed a day since I've started. I can do this weeks in advance. 2) Short posts updating my status. These are quickies to let people know what I'm doing. They take little time, I seldom use photos and they aren't very long. I try to do one a day, but sometimes can't. Never more than 3 days without some sort of point. 3) Articles. These are much longer, researched and have heavy photo integration. I try to do one a week, but sometimes can't do that. Given the nature of my blog, I don't do too many lists and I never have guest bloggers. |

I think I'll keep it as an easy reference and checklist for posting. Tropper Dont Die Poor!! Secrets to Personal Finance |

EverythingEverywhere - good tips! I should think about status updates or some sort of preview posts.
