lol. they drove me crazy too. not sure if it works on all, but check thier website. i know it works for wordpress. just search google for akismet plugin. that should take you to thier site. its really good

I am not sure if trackbacks are even necessary, most of the people that have liked a post on my blog, have just posted the url in their posts or sidebar. Therefore no trackbacks were used.... Now I am not sure if this is good or not.
