I was browsing some websites today, and found one with a submission form right on the front page. Heh, well I thought that would be a great idea, so I basically ripped the code for it and stuck it into my blog. Well, it looks nice but obviously when you click the submit button nothing happens. I pretty much expected this so now I am stuck. I don't know much about html or the like, which is why I am using a wordpress. Any help from coders would be really appreciated! ( What I need is for the submissions to automatically go through onto the main page, or better yet let me approve them somehow first) MistakesMadeBlog

I think you need a contact form plugin to ensure that everything works, not just how it is presented to the viewer. this is the one I used, and it works for me. WordPress Contact Form with Spam Protection | The Marketing Technology Blog

I like the Cforms plugin, you can really make some nice forms with that.

This is going to be tricky. You have to have something running on the server side to catch the data that the form submits. Otherwise if you use the same form as the website you got it from it will send the data to that website rather than your own.

Thanks Ferox, I'll try that one. Thats True Nathan, and I'm not sure how to do that. I also think what I can try is put the source code of the form that I already have installed into my wordpress, onto a widget so it is on the front page.

Alright! Looks like I got it, I just found that there is a widget for the form that I have which allows me to put the whole form onto the sidebar. If anyone is interested, its called TDO Mini Forms.
