Everyone seems to talk about their big traffic stats: visits and pageviews. I'm curious what everyone's second level stats are. If you go to the Google Analytics dashboard, those are the four other stats which are highlighted: pages per visit, bounce rate, time on site and percent new visits. If you want to participate, go to Google Analytics and select a date range from October 1 to October 31, and post them here. The purpose of this is just to try to get an idea what is normal, good and bad for a blog. These are much harder stats to get an idea of what is good compared to the raw traffic stats. I'll start with my main site: Pages/Visit 3.03 Bounce Rate 64.28% Avg. Time on Site 02:30 % New Visits 78.98% and my personal site: Pages/Visit 1.42 Bounce Rate 82.63% Avg. Time on Site 01:35 % New Visits 74.65% |
