Default Multiple Blogs

You are allowed to have more than 1 blogger.com accounts tied to 1 Google AsSense account, right?

I am thinking of having multiple blogs, just to experiment, also to reflect on different things I am interested in, so I don't cramp them all into 1 blog.

Do you think multiple blogs is a good idea? I think it could help with my AdSense balance, too.

Default Multiple Blogs one Adsense Account

When you say blogger.com accounts are you implying blogs or whole new accounts? I do know that google adsense doesn't care how many blogs you attach to one adsense account lol. You can always just use one blogger account for your blogs but disable the feature which lists other blogs under that profile. If you are going to start a blog about something totally off topic or maybe even something that would clash with current then I wouldn't think it would be a huge deal to make another account.

Having multiple blogs means promoting multiple sites and of course keeping up with content demands. You sound ambitious though which is good so best of luck and be sure to let us know how it goes and or if you have any other questions.

Good luck,
Rob

Default Re: Multiple Blogs

I've written on my blog about the importance of keeping a blog focused, so if you really want to write about something off-topic I'd support the idea of creating a new blog for it.

As Rob mentions, though, make sure you can keep up with the schedule of creating content for all the blogs. Suddenly not having any posts on an active blog for a week can kill it pretty well.

Definitely. One blog that caters to a niche that delivers great original content and regular bloggeries would do better than 5-10 ghost towns.

Good luck either way and have you decided what to do?

If you just want to talk about random stuff a BIT then you could make an "Off-Topic" or "Random" folder for the occasional random post just in the very beginning of the post elude that this isn't the typical post but wanted to included for reason x etc...
