which should I use?

I don't think Wordpress offers more traffic. In fact, I think the plateform doesn't really matter when it comes to traffic. What you need to do if to focus on content, the design of your blog, promoting etc.

Zhuli is absolutely right. For a start, let your blog be reviewed by friend bloggers who have high traffic. Then they could give you an advice. Check your content if they are appealing and then, promote.

It's not in the platform dude. Its all a matter of style. Promote your site and you'll gain more traffic.

Ok thanks for the help. Most of the information is all game press news so maybe because of the topics it will be a bit harder to do, because the topic would be a big one that people would have set up there own blogs with the same topic

Promoting your site includes all aspects of marketing your site to increase awareness of your blog and giving others a reason to visit it. SEO and advertising or both integral parts of promotion and often times are inter-related. The key is to advertise at places your audiance will visit and rank for the terms that they will search for.

I cant use meta keywords because I am using the free online versions of the blogs, I do not have the space on my server at the moment.

I have submitted my rss feeds to sites but never any follow back

Blogging is also a game of patience. Results take time (there are exceptions, but most blogs grow slowly), so just keep adding content and commenting on other related blogs/forums, and the traffic will come.
