Hello I have been on stumbleupon for a little bit now, but I have no idea how to use it. I was stumbling my own pages until I read that one post about how you shouldn't do that. I was just wondering how is the best way to utilize the site? If anyone wants to be friends my name on there is abhbah05!!

Best way to use it is naturally. When you find a GOOD site; stumble it. Give it the  . If it's new write the review.I never actually "stumble" by looking at new things I just things that deserve it IMO. That's the way you use it.

I *** THINK *** your rating goes up the more you discover that ALSO gets thumbed by other people you know. If you discover crap and no one else gives it ... Big deal. If you bring something into the stumble network that others love; I think that helps?

I like to run with it when I am bored..not that often lately, trying to find new things, I do unusual google searches for keywords that are in my niche, than if I like it.. it gets the .

I don't understand sites like that. It puts way to much thought into going to sites... Annoys me! Especially when they sync it with their twitter, then you get flooded with tweets that say Stumbledapon: Its like... WHO CARES!? Hmph. I think I was completely just went out into left field with that... Good thing I am left handed.

My account was suspended when they caught me stumbling my own sites and posts...until now theres no clue whether they'll put it back or not.

Only ever used it in moderation it is one of those sites that you can literally spend hours browsing without really achieving anything. It has its positives though. |
