Who Is Your Blog Host?

I started with Blogger, then discovered WordPress so I moved to a free webhost, then went with Dreamhost for a while (unsatisfied with their service) and now I'm a happy camper with MediaTemple. (100 GB of disk space, 1 TB of bandwidth for $20/month)

I'm on Hostgator using the Wordpress platform. Every thing runs great, and I have a LARGE database.

I also have a reseller account on Hostgator if anyone is interested.

I am with hostgator and bluehost. They are good hosting company.
I am still looking info about dreamhost.
Has anyone here ever used dreamhost? I want to hear some feedback.

As I mentioned in my earlier comment, I was with Dreamhost before I moved to MediaTemple. I left DH because I wasn't satisfied with their services. I often encountered 505 Internal Server errors, readers complained of slow page loads and support took too long to reply in most cases. DH also has a tendency to cramp servers with many accounts.

But then again, I have a couple friends hosted at DH who don't experience any of these. I guess it depends on which server you belong to and if you happen to be in a problematic one, then I guess you're better off moving to another web host. But I have heard/read more cases of clients leaving DH than staying.

I'm hosted by crazydomains.com.au .. they are ok except last time I emailed them for help 4 times and got no reply so I had to ring them... 4 days after the initial email. That was annoying. Other than that one instance tho they seem ok. I imagine there is better out there

It is a shame that those little customer service snaffus can make or break a hosting company and business owners probably do not know it's happening.

Either that or it a small company and the owners are the ones making the mistakes and not supporting their bread and butter, their customers.
