I've only had my blog for about a week now, and it seems I get more and more traffic every day. I guess it all depends on how you market it. My first day I only got like 30 hits, but now a week later I'm up to 100+ a day.

My blog started out with about ten visitors a day. As I learned how to write better SEO posts and formed links with other blogs it rose until my daily traffic reached its current level of about 120-140 visitors a day. Entrecard was definitely the biggest boost to my visitor count, but Google Search is starting to rival it as my page rank increases.

I can't speak for all blogs, but I can tell you that my blog got a few a day for the longest time, but that was fine with me as I was working on getting it together and adding content. Now I can get anywhere from 20 - 150 visits a day or more. It is easier if you don't worry about it and just keep adding good content, because that will help draw people to it and they will want to come back. This is just my own experience! Every blog is different! |

It just takes time and lots of patience, the traffic will come little by little.

As others have said, it really depends on your niche. I have one blog that gets several hundred per day. Another, started at the exact same time, only averages 50-100. I've done the same thing for both, but because one is in a higher traffic niche, it obviously gets more traffic. I wouldn't really worry about average traffic as compared to anyone else - except your direct competition - because it is like comparing apples to oranges.

When I started blogging, I got about 20 visitors a day. My problem was that I changed my URL so often and stuff, because I kept closing and reopening blogs, so the regular visitors I got would be lost through this. Kind of stupid of me really, but I guess I got bored of one blog after a while. Then again, blogging isn’t only about the traffic but mainly about enjoying yourself as much as you can!

I haven't been putting much time into my blog and I seem to only have a couple of views per week, but on days that I actively promote my blog by commenting on other blogs then I notice on those days closer to 40-50 unique views.

I started my blog in the beginning of December and have 35 or some odd pages indexed low on google and other search engines. I only get a handful of uniques a day now but have a little following going and word of mouth does work a little bit. The first week I had maybe 15 uniques total and they were almost all just friends or people I know. Now most of my traffic is still those people who enjoy the blog and its content with new people joining everyday.

I went public with my blog about 5 days ago, even though I started writing posts in early December. (Didn't want to publicize it until I had a handful of good posts). During the first two days, I only had about 10 unique visitors. Yesterday however, I had 46 unique visitors. So I'm hoping it will continually increase exponentially.
